| An ecletic minimalist and collector of life experiences. I write about my experiences and/or adventures, usually short story format, for publication in magazines and newspapers. I know from experience that Mother Nature reigns supreme and many times our interactions with her can be humorous while balancing on the very edge of drama and/or tragedy. I believe a gripping narrative needs both. I enjoy all outdoor pursuits but I have a particular passion for sailing, where I can be found in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio on the shallow waters of Lake Erie. |

by Robert Ditirro

They roam this forest in abundant numbers, nearly one per square mile. Every wilderness adventurer knows however that despite his size, Bruin is terribly shy and avoids contact with interloping humans. So don’t go there and expect to see one. These were my first thoughts standing there in the darkness as the large animal crashing through the brush in front of me drew nearer..."
