One of the seven wonders of the hotel world must be Yellowstone's Old Faithful Inn.  Built from logs in the early 1900's, this place must be seen to believe.  Most impressive is the seven stories high lobby with it's two levels of balconies.  Lot's of rustic timber holding the whole thing up...

Could we build something like this again today?  The Inn is the in the heart of all the geyser action.  We kinda wish it was open year round, as the experience in the dead of witer would be really something (but other hotels right at Old Faithful are open year round).

The Inn is located next to an incredable active geyser field with trials leading from one to the next.  Many of the Inn's rooms look right out to the active area.  Now that's what we call a room with a view!
